The team of dedicated and professional Clevedon doctors, including Dr Teresa Kelly, alongside nurses and patient support staff, will provide quality healthcare for you and your family.
As part of our commitment to expanding services, we are welcoming new Clevedon Doctors to the local GP practice and a specialist Menopause Clinic. Our goal is to offer a choice of two doctors each day and to be open Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 5.00 pm, ensuring greater access and convenience for you, your family and the wider Clevedon and East Auckland Community.

Dr Teresa Kelly
Consultant GP
Clevedon Doctor, Teresa Kelly, has worked in General Practice for almost 40 years, originally in New Plymouth before moving to Auckland. She has worked in Clevedon for 28 years.
Teresa loves General Practice because the experience of caring for people from our community is so diverse.
She has a special interest in cardiology and skin-related issues (Dermatology).
Teresa is available Monday to Friday (excluding Wednesday and Friday afternoons)
Dr Ahmed Kareem
Consultant GP
Dr Kareem is a full-time GP. He graduated in 2007 and has a postgraduate diploma from The University of Auckland, and he is a fellow of the Royal NZ College of General Practitioners. He is an efficient, knowledgeable, tech-savvy, caring doctor and is a strong patient advocate.
Dr Kareem is an avid reader of medical and non-medical literature. He is proficient in Arabic and English and enjoys learning new languages and became a Clevedon Doctor as part of the team in 2025.
Dr Kareem is skilled in Minor Surgery.
Dr Sara Jayne Pietersen
Consultant GP
A local to the area, Dr Pietersen brings many years of experience in primary care and is a Vocationally Registered General Practitioner, committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred healthcare for individuals and families.
Whether you’re looking for a regular GP or are new to the area, Dr Pietersen is now seeing patients at Clevedon Village Medical Centre.

Dr Nalini Kohlhagen
Consultant GP & Menopause Specialist
Dr Nalini Kohhagen is an experienced General Practitioner who has had a passion for women’s health for over 20 years.
Qualified with a MBBS (Melbourne), MRCGP (UK), DFFP (UK), Dr Nalini has international-level certification in menopause assessment and management.
Fluent in English, Hindi, Gujarati and Urdu.
Frances Arnott
Registered Nurse
Nursing since 2019, Frances made the shift from urgent care to general practice in 2023 and started her role as a designated nurse prescriber in 2026. Passionate about working for the community, Frances works as part of a collaborative team with the GP’s and hopes to improve access to care. As a NP, Frances can diagnose and treat common conditions and can assist in continuation of care for common/chronic conditions.
Available Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Linda Lockwood
Registered Nurse
Linda is one of the two registered nurses who make up the nursing team at Clevedon Village Medical.
Linda has been a Practice Nurse in South Auckland for over 15 years and has an interest in both chronic care management and mental health.
Linda is available Monday to Friday.
Lynn Alontave
Medical Care Assistant
Lynn was born and raised in the Philippines and came to New Zealand in 2010. Lynn gained a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) in the Philippines and a Certificate in Business Administration (Medical) at MIT in New Zealand.
Lynn has been with the Health Improvement Group team for 4 years and started supporting the Clevedon Medical Village Clinic in 2026. Lynn is a mother of 4 beautiful girls and in her personal time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with family.
Esme Higson-Walker
Clinic Services Manager
Esme is the newest team member to join Clevedon Village Medical.
With strong experience in clinic operations and customer service, Esme brings a caring and approachable style to supporting both staff and patients.
You’ll see Esme in the clinic across the week.
Helen Vaughan
Receptionist
Helen has been a medical receptionist for over 20 years.
Before joining the Clevedon Village Medical team, Helen spent 12 years in the school environment, working with special needs children.
You’ll see Helen in the clinic on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Vivien Smith
Receptionist
Vivien has lived locally for 25 Years.
Vivian has worked as a Medical Receptionist at Clevedon Medical Centre for the past 3 years and enjoys being part of the Team.
You’ll see Vivien Smith in the clinic from Monday to Wednesday.
Debi Higson
Receptionist
Debi is a local East Aucklander with a wealth of experience in healthcare.
Debi joined the team in 2026 and brings her knowledge and skills to support the growing practice here at Clevedon Medical Centre.
